Prettyr Ltd. CEO & Influential Marketing Officer
"I've been fortunate enough to work with some amazing clients over the years and together we have created some very successful brands. A lot of them really do have some quite successful businesses now.
The reason I started Prettyr back in 2016 was quite simple really, I'd got my degree, independently I'd achieved everything I wanted to accomplish in marketing; The next logical step was to scale it up and start a marketing business where I could train young marketers and bring my skills back home to the IOW helping our island achieve great things. To see where the company has come is ever so rewarding.
The thing that I tell every bright young marketer is to put yourself in the shoes of the business. Not everyone is looking to 'flog' their leftover stock, not everyone will get the latest movie reference or trendy abbreviations. Think who you are marketing to and the message you are sending them about your client's business and products. I think this is the key to our success above other marketing agencies.
Making things Prettyr is the easy bit! X "
Wight Eye Guy
The island famous Wight Eye Guy photographer works with Prettyr as our photographer but please keep it quiet.
His name is Jason but shh, Nintendo are still trying to sue him for $200 million believe it or not. Jason got into computers at a young age. Infact, when he was just 19 he developed an N64 game copying system for his friends and maybe some customers to steal his games (lol).
Since then, Jason has worked with the worlds leading logistics company, Maersk, as their cargo logistics manager, where he would ensure that no potentially explosive chemicals would 'interact'.
Jason elaborates, "the way I would put it is, I played a giant game of Jenga to make sure things wouldn't blow up".
From there he became the marketing manager for Lloyds of London, where he created the first internal hyperlinked corporate intranet system in the world for their legal broker documents, so that their employees had to meet certain criteria in order to create legal documents. The cover holder management system, which was created on his weekends in his bedroom, was sold for £250,000 per licence.
Jason likes to keep a low profile these days, hiding on the island because these ongoing court cases apparently never seem to go away!
However, he is a genius, so Prettyr have decided to take advantage.
